If you want to pass on your skills as a commercial pilot to others who want to experience the joy of flight, Third Coast Aviation also offers CFI training.  We offer Certified Flight Instructor single engine (CFI), Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) training in separate courses or as a single package deal.  The courses include time in the Redbird Advance Air Training Device, a full motion flight simulator rig which adds physical sensation to a virtual reality replication of actual in-flight situations.

We want your flight training experience to be rewarding, comfortable and successful, so we are willing to offer these flight instructor programs at an accelerated rate, or you can go at your own pace.

Right now we have the complete CFI SEL course (includes ground class) for $4,330

If you have your writtens completed we can finish your CFI SEL in ten days for $2,830

Cirrus Instructor - If you own a Cirrus aircraft you can hire a Third Coast Aviation Flight Instructor to fly with you in your airplane.  We can teach you how to use the full functionality of your autopilot.  We can be there as an instructor and safety pilot until you’re completely comfortable doing everything on your own.  If you travel a lot, flying Cirrus is a great way to save time and we can train you along the way; again maximizing your time and providing practical flight experience.
