At Third Coast Aviation we provide first class flight training that is focused on safety and professionalism. We will utilize a new approach to flight training, which will have a greater focus on Airman Decision Making and safety.
You will notice a main difference with Third Coast Aviation's flight programs, as we focus on getting you your licenses and ratings, not selling aircraft hours. We are very confident in our program and have priced it accordingly, unlike other flight schools where you pay per flight hour.
Our aircraft will always be highly maintained above the minimum airworthy standards. Having clean, well maintained aircraft is one of the main features pilots look for, if the price is fair. Call us today to schedule your aircraft checkout.
We are pleased to offer on demand aircraft charter service. You deserve to fly to your destination in style, while being affordable. In addition to flying you to your destination, we can take care of all the other logistic planning like transportation to and from the airport, hotels and anything you need for special occasions. Remember that great pilots are made, not born. We offer discovery flights for all new students to allow them to realize their potential as pilots, and start an exciting journey with us.
The Discovery Flight begins with fundamental training of what makes an aircraft fly with one of our seasoned flight instructors. After a thorough preflight inspection of you aircraft, you will taxi to the runway. With the help of your instructor, you will take to the skies. Your instructor will take you through basic flight maneuvers which will be required for your private pilots license. As you return to the airport, with the help of your instructor, you will experience your first landing.
After completing the flight and properly stowing the aircraft, you will conduct an after action review with your instructor and log your beginning flight hours in your first flight log book. Should you choose to become a Third Coast Alumni, this discovery flight serves as your first lesson.REGISTER
